What this campaign stands for

Student wellbeing

Students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and connected. School climate, belonging, and mental health matter.

Inclusion and accessibility

Every student deserves the support they need to participate, learn, and succeed — including students with disabilities, learning differences, and other barriers.

Listening and accountability

Families and communities deserve trustees who listen carefully, communicate clearly, and make thoughtful decisions in the public interest.

“Every student deserves to feel supported, included, and able to succeed.”

Public education works best when students and families are heard.

Throughout her career, Malini has worked with children, youth, adults, and families facing mental health challenges, learning needs, trauma, and barriers to access.

That work has shown how important it is for schools to be places where students feel safe, understood, and empowered to learn. Trustees help shape those environments by listening well, acting thoughtfully, and keeping students at the centre of decision-making.

If elected, Malini will bring a community-minded approach focused on wellbeing, inclusion, accessibility, and strong public education for every learner.
